I completed my undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy and have also completed a masters in Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation. Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist, I have worked primarily in elite sport working in a variety of settings but predominantly working in professional football. My current role is as Head of Academy Sport Science and Medicine at a Professional club.
I have extensive experience in designing and implementing rehabilitation programmes for any client no matter what age or activity level. I have also worked in private practice all my career, primarily treating MSK related conditions. Currently I also work as a senior physiotherapist at a large private hospital in London. I have a specialist interest in Musculoskeletal conditions however also enjoy treating neurological conditions. I have further qualifications and extensive experience in Sports Massage and Acupuncture.
I chose to become a physiotherapist due to experiencing injuries throughout my sporting career which caused me set backs. Treatment sessions with physiotherapists helped me get back on track. I also spent time volunteering in local hospitals whilst at school which helped me to understand the positive impact which physiotherapists have on a wide range of people from early years through to the elderly.
