I have been working alongside osteopaths, physiotherapists and chiropractors for over a decade now. My experience combined with my kind and empathetic manner allows me to treat people from all walks of life. I followed my lifelong dream and opened my own practice. Initially just providing Osteopathy as a solo practitioner, I am extremely proud to see the clinic grow to provide multi-disciplinary services including Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy. Though the clinic has grown, I have taken great care to ensure the fundamentals of our success continue with each new team member. This includes exceptional care, a passion for helping people achieve their health & well-being goals and a warm & friendly personality.
I was initially inspired by my mother, a complimentary therapist offering reflexology and massage for our clinic. I have had an interest from a young age in science, specifically biology and anatomy. After years of playing various sports, mainly rugby, I sustained a number of injuries myself. I was fascinated to see that through exercise and hands-on treatment, many different injuries could be managed. Since studying Osteopathy, it has been such a privilege to have such a rewarding job and to help so many people.
As an Osteopath I treat most areas of the body and musculoskeletal conditions. Most of my experience comes from treating people with back and neck pain, shoulder pain, and postural dysfunction. I also have a lot of experience treating sports injuries such as weight lifting injuries, runners knee and tennis elbow. As a keen golfer (not a very good one I might add), I have a particular interest in the biomechanics of the golf swing. I have worked with a large number of golfers to help promote better movement during their golf swing.
If I am not working or on the golf course I enjoy spending time with my family, including my now 1-year-old son, which keeps me particularly busy. I also invest time to further my learning in my field, so I can provide the best care that I can.
